          <p xml:lang="en">Project partners have granted the Institute for Habsburg and Balkan Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences permission to publish facsimile data within the QhoD project. Employees of this publically funded institution took images of archival sources or collected digitized items, and created descriptive metadata. The contents of the archival sources are not subject to copyright restrictions under Austrian law (Urheberrechtsgesetz), as the creators both of their ideal contents and their documentary material objects passed away more than 70 years ago (§§60-61 UrhG), and these materials are considered documents for official use (§7 UrhG).                             ambassador</rs>’s visit to the Chancellor’s waterfront mansion</hi> On
                    September 20, 1719. On that day, the grand vizier’s son-in-law, the revered
                    vizier <rs
            ref="#mpr14715"
            type="person">Chancellor Mustafa Pasha</rs>, was
                    commissioned to have a private conference with the aforementioned <rs
            ref="#mpr9435" type="person">Austrian ambassador</rs>. For that reason, <rs ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">the ambassador</rs> was invited to <rs ref="#mpr14715"
            type="person">the chancellor’s</rs> waterfront mansion
                    situated on the Anatolian side. The <rs
            ref="#mpr14722"
            type="person">chief of
                        the scribes</rs> was also present at the meeting. Following the conference,
                    they ate the mid-afternoon meal together. When <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">the ambassador</rs> was about to leave, a [length of] embroidered fabric,
                    an embroidered cotton handkerchief, and a handkerchief made of heavy fabric(?)
                    were wrapped up together and handed to <rs
            ref="#mpr9435"
            type="person">the
                        ambassador</rs>. His chief secretary and five or six members of his inner
                    circle were each given a [length of] embroidered fabric. A few days later, <rs
            type="person">the admiral</rs> also invited <rs ref="#mpr9435" type="person">the ambassador</rs> and organized a feast.</ab>
