[1] [Decree] to the chief gardener of the imperial court: General Graf von Virmont×—may God end his days propitiously—who came to my gate that is the center of state, as grand ambassador from the [Roman emperor], the paragon of the great commanders of the community of Messiah, sent a sealed petition to my threshold of felicity, and reported that as he wished to transport the three hundred müdres of wine that he purchased with [his own] money from the quarter called Bugados (Burgas? Burgazada?) to the location where he currently resides, he× was obstructed by the officers located at the quarter called Ayastefanos×. [1] You are the aforesaid gardener: As the [ambassador×] requested my noble decree for the aforesaid officers or others not to obstruct or interrupt [the transportation of wine], my× illustrious edict has been issued—and I decree that—you use your skills to transport the aforesaid wine to the location where [the ambassador×] resides and not prevent its transportation this one time.
