Description:Full length studio portrait of a man in dark clothes. He is wearing a long dark vestment and a clergycal hat and he is holding a chaplet in his left hand. He is standing next to an artificial rock in front of a painted canvas backdrop, which is creating the illusion of the scene being set in a natural landscape.
Comment:Positive print on archival board. Title is a translation of the given by the Austrian Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art title in German: "Bulgarischer Dorf-Pope."
