Object:Wedding rite with cock
Description:Full length outdoor shot of a group of people in a farmyard among one-storied rural houses: in the first row a man in dark rural clothes with a fur cap and a light towel is standing next to a woman also in dark rural clothes with adornment and a veiled face. On her left side there is a boy standing, next to him a man holding a cock in his right, and a wine vessel in his left hand; and an elderly woman with a kerchief. Four elderly men and a woman, all in dark rural clothes, are standing in the second row.
Comment:The photograph was a gift to the National Ethnographic Museum from the Bulgarian Ethnographic Society (Balgarsko narodouchno druzhestvo).
