Comment: | Otto Bieligk was a German insurance lawyer, first general director of the Bulgarian "Balkan" Insurance Society, founded in 1895. His house, a representative building, was on "Knyaz Aleksandar Dondukov" Boulevard. In 1901 one of the first tram lines in the city was built along this street. The boulevard became a market street with a number of shops. After World War II the boulevard's appearance changed significantly. |
