Comment:Hristo Gruev Danov (1828 – 1911) was a Bulgarian teacher and book publisher of the Bulgarian National Revival who is regarded as the father of organized book publishing in the Bulgarian lands. He was also a politician, member of the Eastern Rumelia Regional Assembly. Between February 1, 1897 and July 2, 1899, he was Mayor of Plovdiv.
