Comment: | The Synagogue was built for the Bulgarian capital's mainly Sephardic Jewish community. The planning architect was Austrian-born Friedrich Grünanger. It was officially opened on 9 September 1909 in the presence of Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria. |
