Object:Studio portrait of the Tranka family
Description:Full length shot of a group of nine people: a seated elderly woman, an younger woman and a man, two young men standing behind them, and four boys - two of them sitting, two standing. All are wearing urban clothes, only one of the younger men is in military uniform. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the illusion of the scene being set in a lounge.
Comment:Family Trnka, photographed on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the marriage of Karl Adam Trnka (1853 - 1923) and Maria Dimitrova Panova-Trnka in 1880. On the group photograph there are with their children: Dr. Ana Trnka, Karl-Petr, Adam, Vladimir, Kiril, Lyuben and Konstantin Trnka.
