Object:Group portrait of five men in urban clothes
Description:A half length studio shot of five young men in suits, seated and standing around a small table with an open book / magazine on it. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the illusion of the scene being set in a lounge. Verso: hand-written signatures and date.
Comment:One of the photographed men is Slavcho Dimitrov Zagorov (1898 - 1965) - Dr. of Economics, Professor of Statistics at the University of Sofia (since 1934), Minister of Trade, Industry and Labor (1939 - 1942). After 1944 he became political emmigrant in Switzerland, convicted to death by the so called "People's Court" in 1945.
