Description:Autographed half length shot of a seated man wearing an Orthodox priest's vestment with insignias of honour and a cross.
Comment:Parteniy Sofiyski, born Petar Popstefanov Ivanov (1844 - 1918), was a teacher and priest. He was ordained bishop in 1873. He was also Rector of the "Peter and Paul Seminary" (1882 - 1886), head of the Dioceses of Plovdiv and Lovech (1886), Bishop of Sofia, and deputy chairman of the Holy Synod (1892).
