Description:Outdoor photograph of a group of men and women wearing urban winter clothes and hats.They are ice skating.
Comment:Ice skating on Aleksander Nevski square. Among the people in the photograph are Prof. Ivan Shishmanov, Prof. Ivan Georgov and friends. Ivan Shishmanov (1862 - 1928) was a scholar, linguist, ethnologist, writer, and politician. He was among the founders of the University of Sofia, Minister of Education (1903 - 1907), and minister plenipotentiary in the Ukraine (1918 - 1919). Ivan Georgov (1862 - 1936) was also a scholar, philosopher and pedagogue, member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
