Description:Half length indoor shot of a woman in dark urban clothes, holding the hand of a child in urban clothes, who is shown full length standing on a chair.
Comment:Elisaveta Stanchova was the mother of Poliksenia Stanchova, who in 1888 became wife of Stefan Stambolov. Stefan Stambolov (1854 - 1895) was a Bulgarian politician, a deputy at the Bulgarian Founding Assembly of 1879, Vice Chairman and later Chairman of the Bulgarian Parliament; Regent from 1886 until the proclamation of Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha as Knyaz of the autonomous Principality of Bulgaria in 1887, and Prime Minister for seven years (1887 - 1894).
