Comment:During World War I, the 'Battle of Cer', also known as the 'Battle of the Jadar River', was fought in 1914. It was a major battle between the Austro-Hungarian and Serbian Armies, in which the Serbs defeated the Austrians. It was the first victory of Entente Powers in World War I.
