She is wearing a wedding dress and her bridal bouquet has been placed on her veil at her feet. The groom is dressed in a ceremonial adorned with insignia of honor and rank. He is holding a sabre in his left hand.
Comment:There are signatures of the couple at the recto. This photograph was widely reproduced.
