Comment: | Kosta Stojanović (1867, Aleksinac – 1921, Belgrade) was a distinguished Serbian scientist in the fields of mechanics, mathematics, physics, sociology and economics. He studied in Belgrade, Paris and Leipzig and later taught applied mathematics at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. He also served in different political functions. He was married to Ljubica, née Dimitrijević, with whom he had three sons. |
