Comment: | Miloš Obilić (Boj na Kosovu)' is a tragedy by Jovan Subotić (1817, Dobrinci – 1886, Zemun). It is based on the allegedly historical figure of Miloš Obilić, a medieval Serbian knight in Prince Lazar's service during the invasion of the Ottoman Empire. Suppoedly, he was the legendary assassin of the Ottoman Sultan Murad I. in the 1389 Battle of Kosovo. |
