Comment: | Alexander Ivanovich Yuzhin (1857–1927) was a stage name of the Georgian Prince Sumbatov (Sumbatashvili), who dominated the Malyi Theatre of Moscow in the late 1900s. He was a famous actor and dramatic playwright whose plays were translated into German, Polish, Serbian and Czech languages and were brought to the stage in foreign countries. |
