Object:Studio portrait of two adults and three children
Description:Group portrait of a family. A boy in a sailor suit and an infant in a white tunic are sitting on either end of a parapet centrally positioned in the picture. A man in urban clothes is standing behind, and putting his right arm around, the boy. A girl with long loose hair, who is wearing a white floor-length dress, is standing next to them. She is resting her left hand on the infant's left shoulder. A woman in a dark, floor-length dress is sitting on a chair next to the baby. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the illusion of the scene being set in a drawing room.
Comment:Probably a couple with their children.
