| Comment: | Stevan P. Jovanović was Mihailo P. Jovanović's (1855, Kragujevac – 1944, Belgrade) brother and the uncle of Ana Jurišić, née Jovanović. Stevan was headmaster of the elementary school in Valjevo and member of the editorial board of the bi-weekly "Narodni učitelj" (people's teacher) magazine. His brother was an attorney and served as Minister of Justice (1903–1905) and as head of the Cassation Court (as of 1908). The photograph was a gift to Mihailo and his wife Kosara. |
