Comment: | Ana Jurišić, née Jovanović (1888, Kragujevac – 1956, Belgrade), was Mihailo P. Jovanović's daughter. Mihailo was an attorney and served as Minister of Justice (1903–1905) and as Head of the Court of Cassation (as of 1908). In 1908 Ana married Captain Pantelija Ž. Jurišić (1881, Mačva – 1960, Belgrade), who later became General of the Royal Army. He was the son of the prominent Serbian natural scientist Živojin Jurišić, who, among other things, was the founder of the Natural Science Museum of Serbian Land (which is now the Natural History Museum) and of the Serbian Botanical Society. | Relations: | /o:vase.1247 /o:vase.1248 /o:vase.1251 /o:vase.1260 /o:vase.1261 |
