| Comment: | The photograph was a gift to Jela's sister and Zorić. Photograph kept in photo album no. 22369, which belonged to the Zorić family. Svetozar Zorić (1853, Titel–1931, Belgrade) studied mechanical engineering and worked in Western Europe before returning to Serbia, where he became an Honorary Professor at the Technical University of Belgrade after working for the national railway company. He was very much interested in painting and encouraged his niece Nadežda Petrović and his daughter Milica Zorić in their artistic ambitions. Both became very famous artists. |
