Object:Studio portrait of Dušan Jovanović
Description:Full-length shot of a baby dressed in a white shirt which has slipped down his or her right shoulder. The child is sitting on a ćilim (woven tapestry-style rug). A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of the scene being set outdoors.
Comment:Dušan Jovanović was one of four children of Darinka and Milan Jovanović. Milan Jovanović (1863, Vršac – 1944, Belgrade) was one of the most influental photographers of his generation and worked as a court photographer in his studio in Belgrade.
