Studio portrait of Ljubica Ava'kum'ović
Description: | Full-length shot of a woman dressed in traditional Serbian folk attire. She is wearing an embroidered jelek over an embroidered shirt and a 'pregača' (traditional embroidered apron with a geometric pattern). The shirt is tightened with a belt which is decorated with a 'pafte' (richly ornamented metal buckle). In her left hand she is holding a flower basket. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of the scene being set in a rocky terrain. |
