Comment: | Milan Jovanović (1863, Vršac – 1944, Belgrade) was one of the most influential photographers of his generation and worked as a court photographer in his studio in Belgrade. He was one of three sons of Ernestina Deot and Stevan Jovanović, a photographer who owned a photo studio in Vršac. His brother Pavle, better known as Paja Jovanović, became one of the most famous Serbian realist painters. Milan had four children with his wife Darinka, née Hadži Kostić, who was the daughter of Stevan Hadži Kostić. | Relations: | /o:vase.1458 |
