Object:Studio portrait of Dušan M. Spasić
Description:Full-length shot of a man in a Serbian officer's uniform adorned with many insignia of honor and rank. He is holding a pair of gloves, a sabre and a scabbard. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of him standing in a decorated room. There is a fur rug on the floor.
Comment:The portrait was a gift to Division General Milivoj J. Nikolajević (1861, Belgrade – ?) by his friend Dušan M. Spasić, Minister of National Economy. Nikolajević was Court Marshal under the Obrenović dynasty, Chief Executive of the Geographical Department of Serbian Army's General Staff. The photograph is kept in his collection.
