Object:Serbian military officer with children
Description:Full-length portrait of a man and four children. The man is sitting on a padded wooden chair, wearing a military uniform. A boy is sitting on his lap. Opposite the man and the boy there are three girls in white dresses. The tallest one is standing in the back. She has placed her left hand on the boy's shoulder and her right hand on the shoulder of the girl sitting next to her on a small table. The third girl is sitting on a small wooden chair in the front. There are rugs on the floor and on a table or dresser visible at the very left-hand margin of the photograph. A painted canvas backdrop is creating the impression of the scene being set in a drawing room.
