Description:Full-length portrait of a young man in town attire. He is resting his right hand on a book, which has been placed on a column. He has raised his other hand to his chest. In the background a curtain is partially covering a painted canvas backdrop depicting a park.
Comment:Konstantin Jovanović (1849, Vienna – 1923, Zurich), son of the photographer Anastas Jovanović. He became a prominent architect in the Kingdom of Serbia and in the Principality of Bulgaria. He was also an artist, architectural theorist, photographer and writer. Photograph kept in Anastas Jovanović's album.
