Comment: | The photograph was published as part of a report in the newspaper Vreme on the shooting of the first Yugoslav war movie 'Za čast otadžbine' (For the Honour of the Fatherland) about the defence of Belgrade and its fortress against Austrian attack in 1914–15, at the beginning of World War I. The film was directed by Stanislav Krakow, a writer and editor with Vreme, who also operated the camera. |
