Object:Coachman in front of the 'Ruski Car' hotel
Description:Scene in Knez Mihailo Street opposite the hotel Ruski Car (Russian Tsar). A coachman is crouched next to his horses, which are harnessed to a fijaker parked alongside the pavement. The man is dressed in an overcoat and a flat cap. He is lifting the nearer horse’s right hoof, probably in order to scrape away some dirt.
Comment:The coach is parked in a row at a taxistand.
