Several people are posing on and in front of the vehicle. Five girls in white dresses are on the truck bed: three are leaning against the model aeroplane and two are sitting on the rear section. Comment: | The Turkish Aviation Club was founded in 1925 with the name ‘Tayyare Cemiyeti’. It was renamed ‘Türk Hava Kurumu’ in 1935. The lorry was to participate in the parade on the occasion of Cumhuriyet Bayramı. The building in the background is the location of the Aviation Club headquarters. |
