Female athletes in Taksim Stadium

Description:Two female relay runners are training on the track in Taksim stadı. Both are wearing identical sportswear: a white shirt marked with a number and dark shorts. The athlete on the left is stretching her right arm towards her teammate who is carrying a baton. A third athlete in the same sportswear is partly visible behind them. On the far left, a man in a tracksuit is sitting on the fence that borders the running track. Another man is standing behind the fence.
Comment:The man sitting on the fence is Besim Ömer Koşalay, one of the most famous athletes of that era in Turkey.
