Description:View from the hillside above Tophane towards the Golden Horn and Sultanahmet. The foreground features the roofs and gardens of several houses and the Tophane Ford fabrikası buildings with a water tank tower. Two steamboats anchored at the plants quay. The the right margin is dominated by the dome and minarets of the Nusretiye mosque. In the background, steamboats can be seen on the Golden Horn, one of them bearing the name ‘American–Export–Lines’, as well as a panorama view of Topkapı Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Sultan Ahmet mosque.
