Street vendor reading a newspaper

Description:A poğaça seller is leaned against the corner of a building reading a newspaper double spread titled with the headline, ‘Şehir Haberleri’ (City news). His cart, a three-wheeled wooden construction with showcases on either side and on top, stands slightly to his right. Paper is fixed to the edge of the cart nearest to the seller. The wall he is leaning against is covered with the remnants of left-overs of various posters. Two metallic items, possibly ashtrays, and some textiles are on display in the shop window of the adjacent house. The slightly sloping street is lined with further stores, one of them identifiable as a carver's shop by a sign with the word ‘Hakkak’.
Comment:The newspaper which the seller is reading is probably Akşam.
