Comment | The incoming postmark uses only the Slovene place name. The empty space on the upper part of the postmark could indicate the German name was scraped off. The outgoing postmark again uses only the Slovenian place name. This seems to indicate the postcard was sent when the area was part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes after World War I. Since it took about two years to produce new stamps with both Cyrillic and Latin letters, older postmarks were still in use at that time. |
