Accordingly, in the village called at Galata, there is a church that belongs to the zımmi community that resides. The petition stated that, with the passage of time, some parts of the church have fallen into ruin.[The ambassador] requested my sultanic decree to authorize an investigation by the religious authority and the issuance of a document of proof (hüccet) regarding the outcome of that investigation. Accordingly, this decree orders the religious authority to carry out the investigation.5–14 October 1700
