Dear Sir,
I must apologize for delay on replying to your letter of May 16 on account of many engagements & frequent absence from Colombo.
I shall be happy to assist you if possible but I do not know how to obtain the books you refer to. I send you |2| by post a small packet of publications & shall be gratified if they are of service to you.
Unfortunately the language in printed books is higher than that spoken which latter contains a considerable number of expressions not to be found in the books.
By far the best qualified person to answer any enquiries on the subject is J. H. Eaton Esq.. Advocate oft he Supreme Court1, Kandy2
