The Graph is the visual critical representation of the Compendium's Graph Version 1. It gives access to detailed information on both single elements and groups of elements. Individual nodes, texts, and diagrams, as well as the gray blocks (for groups) that appear upon hovering, are clickable and lead to the second (groups) and third (elements) layer of the visual edition. The Navigational Graph ( Editorial Principles) is mainly based on the representative witnesses K (Klosterneuburg, Augustiner-Chorherrenstift, Cod. 696; 13th c.; FR1), C (Cambridge, Trinity College, B.15.5; 1194; GB6), C2 (Cambridge, Corpus Christi College, MS 29; 13th c.; FR1) and Kö (Köln, Historisches Archiv der Stadt Köln, W 247; late 12th c.; BE1 ). Synthesizing the structural and graphic elements of these witnesses, the NavGraph ignores individual peculiarities in favor of standard features of Graph Version 1. While the two ark diagrams do not appear in the witnesses above, they are found in other early manuscripts of Graph Version 1. Their rendering in the NavGraph is based on Ma (Manchester, John Rylands Library, MS 72; 13th c.; IT1). Regarding the textual elements (beginnings of text blocks, node inscription, labels, text in diagrams), the NavGraph follows the critical text for the "Short Text Version".
