Object:The ‘Tomorri’ cinema in Tirana
Description:The picture shows the interior of the ‘Tomorri’ cinema in Tirana in approximately 1940. The screen is in the centre. Two signs to the left and right request the audience not to smoke. The tiers are divided into two sectors. The front sector is equipped with wooden benches; the rear sector with wooden chairs.
Comment:The inserted name ‘Luce’ (an Italian film and photo production company) indicates that the photograph was taken during the Italian occupation of Albania between 1939 and 1943.
