Object:Poster advertising the feature film ‘Major Pauk’
Description:At the centre of the poster is a drawing of the faces of two elderly men wearing traditional headgear and a young man wearing a Yugoslav partisan cap. Below, the film title ‘Major Pauk’ (Major Pauk) is written in red letters. The name of the Sarajevo-based production company ‘Bosna film’ appears above. The names of the members of the production team and the leading actors are displayed in the righthand corner below. Red letters indicate the name of the offset printing house ‘Budućnost’ in Novi Sad.
Comment:Nikola Popović directed this first feature shot by ‘Bosna film’ and released in 1951. The Serbo-Croatian text is in Cyrillic.
