| Description: | A partly framed leaflet produced by distribution company ‘Jadran Film’ advertises the “great oriental film ‘Kismet’” directed by Wilhelm Dieterle and based on the play by Ulrich Steindorff and Karl Ettlinger: ‘Original oriental musical motifs … A film with an exciting plot and wonderful staging’. The illustration at the top of the leaflet shows four persons in oriental costume. In the foreground, two dark-skinned armed guards have their backs to the reader, while in the background a man and woman can be seen looking at each other. |
