Description:The frameless leaflet features a photograph of a young couple in front of an oversized sheet of music. She has long dark hair and is wearing a dark short-sleeved dress. He has dark short hair and is in a white shirt, a dark bow tie and a dark jacket. He is looking down at her; she is looking up at him. They are both smiling. The Serbo-Croatian translation – ‘Rapsodija u plavom’ – of the original English film title ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ is printed across the lower part of the picture.
Comment:The number ‘27a’ is noted in handwriting on the top right corner is probably an outdated registration number. Robert Alda played the role of the composer George Gershwin. The film was directed by Irving Rapper and released in 1945.
