Object:Advertisement for the feature film ‘Carrie’
Description:The leaflet features a graphic illustration of a couple extending from the right into the centre. The woman has long dark hair and is wearing stud earrings, a necklace with a pendant and a strapless dress. The man has short dark hair and a moustache, and is wearing a white shirt, a dark necktie and a dark jacket. He has his right arm around her hips and is leaning forward; she is leaning back with her right hand placed on his upper arm. The logo of the movie production company ‘Paramount’ and the description ‘American film’ in Cyrillic letters are printed in the top left corner. Below is the text: ‘based on the novel by Theodore Dreiser’. The title in Serbo-Croatian, ‘Keri’ (in the English original: ‘Carrie’), is printed on the lower part of the leaflet.
Comment:The number ‘26a’ noted in handwriting on the top right corner is probably an outdated registration number. The film was directed by William Wyler and released in 1952.
