Comment: | ‘Jedan dan života’ was the most viewed foreign feature film in former Yugoslavia. The story is about a Cuban woman journalist who visits revolutionary Mexico at the beginning of the twentieth century and in some ways parallels Yugoslavia’s conflict with the Soviet Union in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The film was directed by Emilio Fernandez and was released in 1950. |
