Description:Rajko Grlić (l.) and Srdjan Karanović (r.) being photographed on the sidewalk of a busy street. They have placed their arms on each other’s shoulders and are informally dressed. Karanović wears sunglasses. His left forefinger and Grlić’s right forefinger point in the same direction. In the background, a man of approximately their age is standing holding a photo camera in his left hand and also looking in the same direction.
Comment:The photograph was probably taken in a Mediterranean city in France. Grlić and Karanović belonged to a group of Yugoslav directors who were trained at the famous ‘FAMU’ film academy in Prague in the early 1970s.
