For QhoD, Open Science means that its web platform is truly open to collaboration.

Digital edition shouldn’t create more data silos. You can freely use and process our XML data, which is published under the CC-BY license.

We also offer to host external edition data in our infrastructure. This includes the curated and quality-controlled storage of TEI-XML data in a Fedora Commons-based repository, findability and visibility of your transcripts and edition data as well as any facsimile image data – using current state of the art tools and methods.

Feel free to contact us if you have any data / collections that

  • date from the period 1500 to 1918
  • and relate to diplomacy between the courts in Vienna and Istanbul.
