Iste nachor , cum exisset de chaldea, ducta in uxorem melca filia fratris sui aram extincti, moratus in charram mesopotamie , mortuo ibi suo patre et abraham in terram chanaan peregrinante, hos tres fratres hus , buz , bathuel cum aliis quinque genuit; de quorum uno, scilicet buz , descendit balaam , qui secundum hebreos dicitur in job iob eliud buzites .
This Nahor, when he came out of Chaldea, took Milcah as his wife, who was the daughter of his dead brother Harran, and stayed in Harran in Mesopotamia. There his father died and Abraham travelled to the land of Canaan. Nahor begot three brothers, Hus, Buz, and Bethuel, together with another five, from one of whom, specifically Buz, Balaam was descended, who according to the Hebrews, is called Elihu Buzites in Job.

Image excerpts from the manuscripts (as grouped by main graph versions) are the result of tool-based image annotation (via Cadmus) or manual extraction. For each manuscript version only these visually annotated manuscripts are listed here. For the grouping of all manuscripts we provide a separate list (Manuscript groups). Transcriptions are semi-diplomatic following project specific rules.
