On the Sons of Noah: Text and Manuscripts

Go to the Noah and Descendants group, the Visual edition.

Ab his tribus filiis noe texuntur generationes .lxxii.
From these three sons of Noah 72 clans are woven: 15 from Japhet, 30 from Ham, 27 from Sem. They were spread throughout the world. Sem obtained Asia, Ham Africa, Japhet Europe. We will only consider the descendants of Sem here, as the other two were Gentiles.

Image excerpts from the manuscripts (as grouped by main graph versions) are the result of tool-based image annotation (via Cadmus) or manual extraction. For each manuscript version only these visually annotated manuscripts are listed here. For the grouping of all manuscripts we provide a separate list (Manuscript groups). Transcriptions are semi-diplomatic following project specific rules.
