He is standing in the middle surrounded by charred beams hanging against the cinema gallery like scattered pick-up sticks, amidst overthrown building materials. His uniform consists of a long coat and a helmet, and he is holding a pickaxe in his left hand. In the upper background, the exterior wall of the adjoining building can be seen. According to the chief of the Belgrade fire brigade, Miroslav Milisavljević, the fire in the 'Kasina' cinema was probably caused by an overheated chimney in the American film hall on the top floor. Although the roof construction collapsed, no serious damage occurred and nobody was injured. The damage was estimated at around 350,000 dinars.
