Manuscripts with images
The table below lists manuscripts with images available online, which we have integrated into our edition via International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF). Most of these images are hosted externally, and their integration into our edition also relies on IIIF. Image rights and availability are determined by the hosting institutions. A selection of manuscripts, serving as representative examples of Graph Versions, were chosen for image annotation. In these, medallions and texts were identified and linked to the Visual Edition and indices (see Index of Texts or Index of People). For some of these manuscripts we include transcriptions or they are part of the Critical Text.
We also provide a case study in which images of the manuscripts in this table can also be compared using the Project Mirador image viewer. For Mirador we have created IIIF-collections and IIIF-manifests containing metadata and the range of images relevant for our edition. The IIIF-collections are organized following our system of Graph Versions and can be accessed through Mirador on the our Github page.
