Description:Full length shot of a young couple in traditional attire, standing hand in hand. The woman is wearing a sokay (a special wedding headscarf) decorated with flowers. She is richly adorned with rings, a necklace, and bracelets. The man is wearing a flower tucked behind his right ear, a fur cap, and a light-coloured sash over his left shoulder.
Comment:Given title by the Austrian Museum of Folk Life and Folk Art: "Braut und Bräutigam am Hochzeitstage" (Bride and groom on the wedding day). The same photograph is published in 1893 in the Bulgarian Almanac under the title "From Sofia district".
